If other troubleshooting steps have failed to resolve the GoPro's connection issue, it may be necessary to perform a factory reset on the GoPro. Here's how to do it:
1. Swipe down on its touch screen and tap preferences2. Scroll down to reset and tap factory reset / confirm it
3. Once the camera is finished resetting and restarting go through the initial setup (choose language agree to terms etc then it will tell you to open the gopro quik app on the phone.
4. Open quik and tap the camera icon in the bottom right corner. Select "Continue as Guest" and then select "Maybe Later".
5. Tap the second camera icon with the plus symbol in the top right corner
6. The gopro should search for the camera now. If it doesn't detect right away it will ask what the camera is. Its a hero 8 black
7. Once the camera is detected its pretty easy just keep hitting next. You can leave the name as the default one
8. Once you get to the control your camera screen tap that and then tap enable preview.
9. Once you get the preview you can close the quik app (completely using the multitask menu) and then try connecting in pulse labs again.
