Confidentiality in Pulse Labs Studies

At Pulse Labs, protecting the integrity of our research and the privacy of our clients is a top priority. When you participate in one of our studies, it’s important to understand that all aspects of the study are confidential.

What Confidentiality Means

  • Do not share your participation. You may not share with friends, family, colleagues, or on social media that you are a participant in one of our studies.

  • Do not share study details. This includes the study content, tasks, prompts, recordings, or any other information you encounter.

  • Do not discuss with others. You may not share study-related information with friends, family, colleagues, or on social media.

  • Do not distribute materials. Any documents, screenshots, recordings, or files you access during the study must remain private and must not be copied, forwarded, or posted online.

  • Do not store information. You may not capture and store information from the study materials or details to save or share later. This includes capturing screenshots and video recordings of your screen or a device.

Why Confidentiality Matters

  • Protecting our clients. The companies we work with often share early-stage concepts, prototypes, or unreleased products. Sharing this information outside the study could have serious consequences.

  • Maintaining research quality. If study materials are shared, it can influence how others respond and compromise the validity of the research.

  • Respecting your agreement. By joining a study, you agree to our Terms & Conditions, which include strict confidentiality requirements.

Consequences of Breaking Confidentiality

If study information is shared outside of Pulse Labs:

  • You may be removed from the study and future opportunities.

  • You may forfeit any compensation related to the study.

  • In serious cases, legal action may be taken by our clients to protect their proprietary information.
