      How do I format my GoPro SD card

      If you run into issues with the GoPro, it may be necessary to reformat the SD card manually. (all recorded footage will be lost)

      Clearing Your GoPro's SD Memory Card:

      on the GoPro itself, swipe down from the touch screen to access the Preferences menu, scroll down to Reset, then Format SD Card.
